Tenerezza o Timore?
Mi sono imbattuto in queste pubblicità mentre cercavo materiale per Pioggia d’Estate.
Leggete le caratteristiche tecniche, i numeri legati alla memoria interna ed alla RAM… fa davvero tenerezza, ma, nello stesso tempo, incute anche un po’ di timore.
Se prima era facile soprendersi per un raddoppiamento di velocità, al giorno d’oggi l’effetto sorpresa non esiste più, è una continua gara all’esagerazione, a volte inutile, e non esistono più piattaforme sfruttate al massimo, dato che il ricambio è così tanto veloce che anche solo dopo qualche mese un buon PC risulta antiquato.

Non per nulla in informatica esiste la legge secondo cui ogni 18 mesi la velocità di calcolo e la dimensioni delle memorie di massa raddoppiano, solo che essendo un processo graduale vediamo ogni mese macchine sempre superiori.
